How to apply
Most of the above use a combination of:
- Direct walk-in interviews (call the HR / administrator)
- Referrals from college placement cells
- AyurConnect job board (more of these hospitals are now posting here)
- Newspaper classifieds (Mathrubhumi, Manorama, especially for AVS + Vaidyaratnam)
What they look for
In order of importance: CCIM + KSMC active registration, fluency in Malayalam (essential for patient communication), classical specialization training (not just MBBS-style), reference from a senior practitioner in the lineage. Government jobs additionally require PSC exam.
What's the difference between hospitals 1–5 and 6–10?
The top 5 have decades of brand equity; salaries are slightly lower but reputation compounds. Hospitals 6–10 pay slightly more upfront but require you to build your own patient base. Choose based on whether you want institutional brand or faster individual reputation.
