FAQ
How many MCQs are in AIAPGET?
AIAPGET consists of 100 MCQs in a two-hour computer-based test. Each correct answer carries four marks and there is a one-mark negative marking for wrong answers. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
Which subjects have the highest weightage in AIAPGET?
Clinical subjects — particularly Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, and Shalakya — typically account for a significant portion of questions in recent years. Dravyaguna and Rasa Shastra are also heavily tested. That said, NTA does not publish an official subject-wise distribution, so broad preparation across all subjects remains important.
Is there negative marking in AIAPGET?
Yes — one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. It is worth attempting questions only when you can eliminate at least two of the four options; random guessing on all remaining questions is generally not a sound strategy.
Can I use AyurConnect MCQs without creating an account?
You can browse and attempt questions without logging in, but creating a free account lets you track scores, see your history, bookmark questions, and resume mock tests. Account creation takes under a minute.
How is AIAPGET different from state PG entrance exams?
AIAPGET is the national exam and its rank is accepted at central universities (AIIA, NIA) and many deemed universities. State exams like KUHS, RGUHS, and MUHS govern seats in their respective state colleges. Many students appear in both to maximise their options.
